Most of us react to challenging situations in our lives with anger, insecurity or fear, never realising that we create what we experience…Our outward lives therefore reflect imbalances in our inner lives.
I can teach you and you can learn through these Chakra Blogs how to shift your focus away from the problem mindset. Instead, you can learn to focus on realigning with your inner energies i.e. your Chakras. And you can find out which Chakra is causing any imbalance.
The Chakra System is an ancient model for awakening and balancing your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energies. They are vortexes of energy that serve as a map of your inner world. The more freely the energy flows in your Chakras, the stronger your well- being becomes.
When problems, challenges and difficulties arise in your life, you can use the chakra system to find the source of conflict within yourself.
I can give you specific techniques for changing the way you use your energy. You can then move your consciousness to a new level.
We all want the same out of life; happiness, fulfilment and wellbeing. So, learning the Chakra techniques is therefore a good and positive way forward.
What are Chakras?
The Chakras are spinning vortexes of energy. They are said to be just in front of your spine and they are positioned from your tailbone to the top of your head. They are a map of your inner world- your relationship with yourself and how you experience energy. As life is energy, the same force that flows through all of life consequently also flows through you.
So lets get ready to understand this system.
Each Chakra has a different colour and also corresponds to specific organs in our physical body. Red is the colour for this chakra.
With this comes your urge to survive.
This is the root of your being and your deepest connection to your body and planet earth.
As the primary drive connected to this Chakra is survival: food, clothing, shelter and protection are therefore the necessities to which it responds. Sex for procreation is also a drive from this Chakra.
The Base Chakra is positioned just at the base of the spine. I could write a whole book about this and all the other chakras! However, for now I want to keep it simple and explain some pertinent facts.
The Base Chakra
Lets start with understanding the base chakra. Let us also look at why it is important to keep it balanced and clear at all times.
This chakra is vital in our lives to keep us grounded so we can enjoy our reincarnation. The stability to be here on planet earth, understanding we are a soul having a human experience.
When this chakra is out of balance we may feel insecure. For example, if there are not enough resources to provide adequate food, clothing of shelter. We will find we can focus on little else. One of the challenges of meeting these needs are recognising they are different for each individual. And YOU must discover for yourself what you need to feel secure.
Crystals to Balance the Base Chakra
The Crystals you can use to balance this centre are: Ruby, garnet, red Jasper, carnelian and a black stone called Obsidian.
By sitting or lying down quietly and laying one of these stones under the base of your spine and imagining the colour red is swirling around your tailbone, you can start to rebalance this chakra. Then repeat the affirmation “ I am protected by the Universe and am safe grounded and happy this lifetime. All is well in my life.
After 15 minutes you may sense a feeling as if magnets are pulling you downwards into your chair or towards the bed. This is the energy starting to rebalance and correct the feelings of insecurity.
This is the energetic view of life.
“Change the inner experience of energy and your outer world will follow.”
